This malleable 100% natural hair head is ideal for your special wedding hairdressing courses or apprenticeships in hairdressing salons and schools.
We always recommend practising on a special chignon styling head to learn how to do a chignon, as the density of these products is greater.
However, you can easily practise simple chignons and braids on our classic women's styling heads (premium or basic range), if you don't particularly need a lot of length or density (especially for beginners at hairdressing school).
Our Romy malleable head has a hair length of 50cm, ideal for learning elaborate wedding hairstyles for a hairdresser in a salon, an apprentice in a hairdressing school or for wedding chignon training. This product has a high density of 240-260cm/hair. This high density allows you to create all types of elaborate chignons and wedding hairstyles.
If you're a beginner and want to start learning how to do a chignon, we recommend that you start practising on our professional Sarah styling head, which has a lower, more realistic density.
You can also perform balayage, bleaching and colouring exercises on our Romy styling head; the hair on this malleable head is 100% natural, of Indian origin. However, we don't recommend this type of use of hair products as it can damage the hair. A chignon styling head has an average lifespan of 2 to 3 years; if you use balayage and colour techniques on the hair in your chignon styling head, it will have a shorter lifespan.
All hairdressing equipment should be chosen specifically according to your needs in the hairdressing salon or in training: 100% natural hair styling heads, human hair for colouring, for learning how to cut hair with a professional clipper on a male mannequin, for learning how to cut curly or afro hair, etc.
You may find some white hair on this 100% natural human hair styling head. This is perfectly normal and even guarantees the quality of the hair: women in India shave their heads 1 or 2 times in their lives in order to give their hair to Chiva. This human hair is collected by Hindu temples to be sold (or given away) on the market. That's why our styling heads have white hair, and why the women who offer their hair also have white hair!

We have an equivalent of this malleable head in the basic range: the Sarah malleable head has the same characteristics as Romy, but with a lower density, ideal for learning the chignon. We also have our Manon malleable head, which has a higher density than Romy, for advanced users who want to create elaborate chignons.
