The hair is then sorted by length. The men and women work in a workshop where they detangle, sort the bundles of hair.
This stage uses a machine with a capacity of 600 molds per day. The molds are formed by an artisan’s manufacturing process : the molds are immersed in boiling water to solidify the material.

HAIR IMPLANTATION
MAKE-UP AND SOLIDIFICATION OF THE HEAD
QUALITY CONTROL
Women are in charge of the hair implantation. For some years now, they have been using small machines to implant the hair in rows for greaterspeed. However, all finishing touches are done by hand to ensure realistic rendering (contour, vertex point). It’s a tedious job, with only 12 heads implanted per person per day.
Next comes the make-up stage.
All the details are worked out in France, then the make-up is applied by hand, which requires meticulous work. Finally, the head is solidified by the application of a foam that swells the inside of the head and then hardens, thus fixing the hair.
A large workshop is dedicated solely to product quality control : the implant is meticulously inspected and certain areas can be re-implanted if necessary.
Each product is checked and any deficiencies (bumps, imperfections on the face imperfections, hair quality, etc.) are directly set aside so that every head sent in is according to the norms.
